DESCRIPTION:

You are the right hand of the Food and Beverage Director. You have a watchful eye and an attentive nature that's perpetually tuned in to server care and guest need. You generously share what you know and transfer issues into constructive opportunities. Communications are fluid between management and shifts and operations are smooth. SUMMARY: Full-time hourly position - Must have open schedule availability, weekends and weekdays.

Scheduled days and times may vary based on need; mainly evening hours.

Full benefits / $19.00/hour

As Supervisor, you will:

-Use your experience and attentive nature to assist in all aspects of restaurant operations to elevate the guest experience and ensure associate safety. Ensure overall restaurant cleanliness and set up.

-Oversee servers, bartenders and bussers to ensure optimal appearance and exceptional guest care, watchful of guests' need for service.

-Help the director establish and monitor sidework.

-Ensure receipt and accurate flow of communications between shifts. Be aware of what happened in the prior shift and clearly convey happenings for the next.

-Monitor Lounge throughout hours of operation to provide high levels of quality service.

-Be highly visible; interact with guests and associates; react quickly to items of concern. 

-Maintain safety and sanitation standards to provide associates and guests with a safe environment

-Ensure that service staff provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages.

-Maintain physical appearance of Lounge and bar equipment in good working condition through checklist and work order procedures.  Complete weekly inspections.

-Understand procedures for, and assist with, month-end inventory, maintenance of perpetual log and bar pars. 

-Assist in ordering and receiving requisitions and maintain security of liquor inventories. 

-Assist in training and orientation of new associates. 

-Spend 70% of time on floor supervising staff and insuring the highest level of service.

-Spend 30% of time on administrative tasks and projects.

-Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Flexible schedule and availability any day of the week. At least two years high-volume Bar experience. At least one year of supervisory experience a must. High school education or equivalent, with one to two years cash handling experience required.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required. You must be able to deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism. The ability to use purchasing and point of sale systems is expected. This position requires full mobility, continuous movement, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.
