Operational Excellence Manager

The Operational Excellence Specialist will implement processes and initiatives to enhance cross-enterprise integration, and create a continuous improvement culture. This position will lead business process improvement through the implementation of Synergy initiatives supporting one of Heartland Product Supply System’s Manufacturing groups. The position provides leadership on the full range of business, leadership, technical, and process improvement opportunities across a Supply Chain. Implementation will include direct leadership, guiding others to implement, and applying Operational Excellence tools to solve the problem and train those working on the initiative. Accountable for increasing the number of associates capable of training and leading initiatives using formal problem solving tools for the group they support. This includes focus on creating a work environment that engages employees at all levels in the business to help drive out unnecessary work, improve and simplify processes, and continually reduce costs.
•Develop analytical tools and reports (e.g., staffing models, rate models, procurement models, inventory models, stewardship models) in order to manage supply chain performance.
•Responsible for delivering the Product Supply System Operational Excellence vision through the successful completion of initiatives delivering synergy.
•Identify supply chain metrics (e.g., forecast variance, total spending, cost savings) using data collection and survey reporting methods in order to monitor performance.
•Responsible for delivering the Product Supply System Operational Excellence vision through the successful completion of initiatives delivering synergy.
•Drive employee engagement and organizational health.
•Develop programs which improve beverage quality and supply chain efficiencies.
•Translate Company business strategy into operational goals with visible metrics.
•Provide technical advice for customers, business partners and Company associates in order to teach, provide expertise or validate equipment/parts or processes.
•Coaching, motivating, developing talent.
•Improve productivity and capability of the workforce through current technology enablement, training, process improvement and identifying best practices (e.g., 5S & Lean methodology).
•Enhance intellectual capital through training, rewarding, and retaining the best of the best.

Job Requirements

*Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
*Formal Lean, Six Sigma or OE certification preferred.
*Strong background in all aspects of supply chain management is required.
*In-depth experience in continuous improvement and operational excellence.
*LEAN Mfg, process improvement, process standardization.
*Must have a min of 5-7 years' experience.
