Shift Supervisor, Plastic Injection Molding

3317, SHIFT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR:  TN  location, about half hour west of  Nashville.

• Our customer is growing and continues to expand their base of operation. 

  Duties and responsibilities:

• Only individuals with plastic injection molding experience need apply.  Customer will not accept any other experience. 

• This position is half hour west of Nashville, TN

• You would be assigned to second shift  and be directly accountable for the guidance and direction of a talented group of Operators, Technicians and Material Handling employees in a non-union operation. 

• You would be responsible for keeping departmental records, assisting in the interviewing/hiring of line personnel and coaching, training and evaluating your staff. 

• You will insure safety is "everybody's business", direct shift meetings as needed, coordinate / maintain the production schedule and interface with other staff and departments as needed. 

  Requirements:

• The ideal person will have 3 or more years of experience as a supervisor in a plastic injection molding operation.  Only individuals with plastic injection molding experience need apply.  Customer will not accept any other experience.

• Your experience with 5S, Kaizen events and other Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement will help you succeed.
