Job Description

The Job:

CloudFactory is growing fast and we’re looking to accelerate our demand generation to keep pace with our ambitious growth goals. It’s an exciting time at CloudFactory. Our customers are creating some of the most innovative technology in the world, and we’re positively impacting the lives of people in developing nations. If you live and breathe demand generation and love to drive revenue, we want to talk to you.

The Demand Generation Manager will report to our Director of Marketing and be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing our demand generation initiatives. You will build effective programs that move our prospects through the entire buying journey. You will own the execution and results of all lead generation initiatives. We’re looking for smart people with a bias for action, who want an opportunity to grow personally and professionally.

You will have a lot to work with at CloudFactory. We believe in the value of having a strong marketing team that’s accountable for revenue, and we’ve built a solid foundation for demand generation success. You will need to integrate quickly with a small but talented marketing team that spans two continents. While you won’t be starting from scratch, you will be expected to identify what we’ve been doing well, what can be improved, and most importantly, how we can scale it.

The Fit:

You’ve likely traveled globally and definitely appreciate cultural differences. We’re a global company, and in this position, you will work closely with our marketing team in the US and Nepal and potentially other locations as we grow.

You will own the demand generation planning process and implement an operational structure that scales with our growth goals. This means you will oversee all demand generation programs, from conceptualization to execution to measurement. You will be accountable for consistently increasing our inbound lead volume and quality to meet our growth model. And you will own all lead management processes to ensure we’re operationally positioned to scale. You will implement best-in-class lead nurturing programs that map to our prospect’s personas and where they are in the buying journey. You will actively identify new demand generation channels and opportunities. You are the kind of person who challenges assumptions and uses data and insights to guide decisions. You are a lifelong learner and know how to apply your knowledge to drive value. You are driven, ambitious, and have a strong desire to consistently improve outcomes.

You will also work closely with our sales team to execute on our account-based, outbound go-to-market strategy. You will oversee program management including SEO, PPC, social media, retargeting, events, webinars, and other paid digital platforms as necessary to increase conversion rates and ensure a steady pipeline of qualified leads. You will work with our Content Strategist to leverage content for demand generation programs and be the point person on content distribution programs. You will be an in-house expert on our marketing automation software (HubSpot). This includes testing, segmentation, nurturing, personalization, smart content, and analytics. You will build holistic reporting that aggregates data from different sources, including our marketing automation platform, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and social properties to track and improve performance and measure against KPIs. You will also support our events and trade shows as needed.

The Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B demand generation planning and execution along with a proven track record of success
  • Expertise in marketing automation (with Hubspot Certification is even better)
  • Proven experience with SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing tools
  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns that have a direct impact on revenue
  • Ability to develop, implement, and document processes that can scale
  • Strong understanding of sales pipeline and processes
  • Experience defining and quantifying marketing initiatives, including analytics, attribution modeling, and ROI
  • Working experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems
  • Strong project management skills
  • Conversant knowledge across a wide array of technological and economic themes would be helpful in our global context
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally to locations such as Nepal and Kenya (Travel may = 10%+/-)
