Orange County's premier resort style Hotel & Sports Fitness club is seeking to discover a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to join the Style team. Renaissance ClubSport is a unique concept featuring a 174-room boutique style Four Diamond Hotel, 5,500 sq. ft. Meeting Space, 75k sq. ft. Sports Fitness Club, Day Spa, Restaurant, Deli, Sports Bar and Lounge. The Sports Fitness Club includes an aquatic center featuring a 25 yard lap pool, exercise pool, adult outdoor spa and children's area, which includes a wading pool, children's outdoor spa and Splash Park.  


MISSION


To ensure the hotel guest rooms, corridors, club and common areas are spotlessly clean and neat.  Objective is to meet or exceed all Renaissance ClubSport standards for cleanliness, neatness, safety, security and housekeeping operations while adhering to approved budgets for payroll and supplies.  To ensure that all housekeeping staff understand and embrace the Facility Walkthrough standards; to create awareness of the importance of cleanliness and safety to the overall success of the company.

Room Attendants, Housemen, Locker Room / Laundry Attendants, Runners, Public Area Attendants, Turn Down Attendants and Overnight Housekeeping  


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure that serving hotel guests and club members in a friendly, efficient manner is the #1 priority
  • Maintain a spotless, clean and neat facility
  • Assist in staff hiring, supervision, training and development
  • Ensure that locker rooms and common areas are consistently clean, neat and fully stocked
  • Ensure all LSI Human Resources policies and employment practices are followed in the housekeeping department
  • Meet budget for operating costs:  labor, housekeeping supplies, towels and linens, other
  • Ensure that all reports are prepared completely and on time
  • Ensure that proper key controls are in effect
  • Take inventories as scheduled and maintain par stocks
  • Schedule associates for shifts according to projected occupancies; the Executive Housekeeper will have the final approval of the weekly schedule
  • Ensure that lost and found articles are stored properly and that logs are maintained
  • Follow professional and ethical guidelines when dealing with guests, members, associates and vendors
  • Train housekeeping staff on Facility Walkthrough, Guest Service Walkthrough, and Core Value Quick Check standards and the basis for inspection ratings
  • Develop and ensure the use of housekeeping checklists for club and common areas
  • Make sure all housekeeping equipment, tools, and appliances are used, operated and stored properly and safely
  • Exercise the highest level of care in using chemicals or hazardous materials; follow guidelines and precautions on MSD sheets
  • Follow all Renaissance ClubSport and OSHA safety guidelines
  • Recommend equipment purchases, replacements, major repairs
  • Handle and resolve all guest / member issues and concerns relating to facility cleanliness 
  • Other responsibilities or projects as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper
