Job Description
Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):
- Support, lead and motivate all pastry sous chefs and cooks
- Execute service and production of all confection and bakery items in all kitchens of the hotel
- Cross utilize teams to cover all needs of the operation
- Ordering of goods, schedule writing and production planning for the pastry department
- Monitor all related costs and expenses to insure profit
- Insure all HACCP procedures are followed
- Innovate and create new features within the pastry department
- Create displays, showpieces and seasonal attractions
- Recruiting, selection and on-boarding of sous chefs and cooks
- Perform all duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- 10 Years of experience in relevant luxury establishments
- Extensive HACCP knowledge and required certifications
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
- Advanced cooking acumen
- Computer literate
- Mature leadership skills
- Advanced food and beverage financial understanding
