JOB SUMMARY

Supports the strategic direction of CEC technology initiatives for internal web based applications. Responsible for monitoring the day-to-day project initiatives and maintenance requests as they relate to the delivery of positive user experiences on various web properties and applications for the CEC. Manage and oversee CEC project budgets.

 

Understands and develops support skills in his/her global team required for existing & emerging technologies. Manages technology roll-outs and/or other project management initiatives. Serves as an IT escalation point for CEC Technology.  Leads the definition of the software architecture, development process and other standards.

 

A successful candidate possesses knowledge and experience and demonstrates strong relationship skills.  This senior position requires significant information technology, infrastructure and software development experience as well as department and organizational experience.  A proven understanding and experience related to infrastructure, technology (hardware, software & telecommunications) is also key to be successful in this role.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 
Education and Experience
 
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major and 4+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance;
  • OR
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in of relevant professional experience in marketing or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.
  • 4+ years of progressive leadership experience; Leading & developing teams of technology-focused individuals.  Experienced with hiring, personal development planning, & coaching/mentoring.
  • JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, E-Commerce, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Multimedia Content Development, API's

  • Perform management of web development team to ensure the platforms supported by IS are stable, robust, adaptable and easy to use
  • Supports a variety of existing systems and small to large-sized development projects
  • Develop solutions for business problems as needed; conducts design and code reviews
  • Collaborate with product owners on business requirements, define technical solutions, and estimate activities to deliver value to customers in a timely fashion
