Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Valley Hospitality. The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including the selection and hiring process. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.


Job Summary

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, counseling, discipline and discharge of all hotel employees. 
  • Insure that deposits are made daily, with the exception of the weekends which will be deposited on the following Monday.
  • Review and approve all purchase orders of non-consumables on a continual basis.
  • Conduct monthly department meetings on a consistent day and time each month.  All employee meetings are conducted to review the performance of the hotel with the staff and forward direction, a question and answer session will be included.
  • Conduct a monthly bank count of all banks that have been issued throughout the hotel and forward the bank count sheets to the corporate office on a monthly basis.  Any discrepancies need to be addressed and corrected at this time.
  • Review all work schedules of all departments on a weekly basis.
  • Perform and conduct public relations and sales calls for the hotel as requested.
  • Oversee all quarterly inventories
  • Insure that all items on management directional memos are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain outstanding level of quality assurance inspections
  • Marriott brand training
  • 2+ years in management
