Job Objective:
The Remodel Merchandiser position is designed to help execute all aspects of Store Remodels per Space Planning's directive at field level. 100% of the time on the job is spent in retail settings working to execute all Remodel related functions per Space Planning call down while supporting Remodel Team Lead.
What does a Remodel Merchandiser do?
  • Reset specified stocking sections to retailer provided Schematics or Shelf Strips.
  • Stock displays & shelves with new or transferred merchandise.
  • Hang, attach or replace price tags on merchandise.
  • Set up advertising signs and displays on shelves, counters, tables and other specified locations.
  • Correctly separate and identify back stock, discontinued and unallocated items in boxes, bins, and crates in location(s) identified by Team Lead.
  • Clean display cases, shelves and aisles.
  • Provide continuity coverage based upon identified on-going schedule.
  • Handle special projects or audits.
  • Report work daily in SRS reporting system.
  • Build and Maintain Good Relationship with Store Managers, FMC's, ICC's and other Key Store Personnel.

    Hourly Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour

    What do we need from you?
  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a reliable form of transportation. (Current valid Driver's license and proof of Auto insurance will be required).
  • Prior merchandising or retail experience is preferred but not required.
  • This is a physical job and requires candidates to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks that involve stooping, walking, bending, climbing stair/ladders, searching for items and standing on concrete for long periods of time.
  • Have a working knowledge various software programs and common computer functions (i.e. Word, Excel, E-mail, uploading digital pictures).
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Handle light power tools, (drills), and manual tools, (hammer, screw drivers etc.)
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing market needs.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Be able to work late/overnight night and early morning shifts based on route schedule.
  • Be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and ability work well in public settings.
