The Shift Leaders are responsible for coaching Crew Members throughout their shift to execute Dunkin' Donuts operational standards and deliver a great guest experience.

 

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Promoting a team environment by fostering respect, providing coaching and feedback, recognizing achievements, resolving employee concerns and communicating effectively.
  • Deploying team members appropriately to meet guests’ needs and service stands throughout the shift.
  • Support Training for Crew Members as directed by Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Communication goals and holding team member accountable for performance during shift.
  • Holding guests as highest priority and role model exceptional guest service.
  • Promoting an environment where there is a sense of urgency to satisfy guests.
  • Ensuring Brand standards and systems are executed. Monitoring team performance to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met at all times.
  • Completing all required training including ServSafe® certification.
  • Driving sales through effective execution of restaurant standards and marketing initiatives.
  • Delegating and lead processes to control labor costs, food costs, and cash.
  • Ensuring the safety and security of team and guests through a focus on preventative maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Working with District Manager to assess restaurant, develop action plans to target opportunities, and implement plans designed to achieve goals.
  • Complying with all restaurant, Brand, and franchisee policies.
  • Anticipating and understanding guests’ needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Setting compelling targets and delivering on commitments.
  • Making good decisions based on analysis, experience and judgment.
  • Getting the right people in the right places, enabling them to make decisions and celebrate success as a team.
  • Using interpersonal skills to confront tough issues and resolve disagreements constructively is preferred.
  • Providing honest feedback to team members, actively coaching and supporting them to achieve personal and professional goals is desired.

 

The professional we seek must have the following:

  • Able to clearly express oneself verbally and in writing (English)
  • Math and Writing Skills
  • Previous restaurant, retail, supervisory experience preferred
  • At least 18 years of age (where applicable)
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
