About this job

Oversees the day-to-day operations of the restaurant including all food quality, all food production, and the restaurant staff. This position develops, directs, and supervises hourly restaurant team members to attain production objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality food, cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.
• Manages operations of the restaurant in coordination with the AGM, GM, and ownership.
• Thorough understanding of all Dough Society’s policies, procedures, and operating standards.
• Responsible for promoting the Core Values & Disciplines of Dough Society Pizza, setting the standard for the operation through leadership by example.
• Ensures compliance with operational standards, Company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Assists in developing and executing all food related marketing efforts within the restaurant.
• Supervises the quality of food preparation, limited time offers (LTO’s), raw product specifications, and Company Standards
• Ensures a harassment free environment for all Team Members and Managers.
• Clearly communicates Company direction to all personnel.
• Maintains professional restaurant and Team Member image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Upholds safety and security standards at all times.
• Ensures security of the restaurant and its contents.
• Monitors and maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of all back of house areas and equipment.
• Assists in ensuring that all back of house operations, recipe, and specifications books are current and maintained.

Requirements

Job Requirements
Experience Requirements:
* Successful, motivated employee with a good understanding of operations, or, for external candidates, a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience with restaurant operation in a similar environment.
* Knowledge of all Food Safety systems
* Demonstrated abilities to manage a staff of personnel
* Understanding of numbers, food pars, quantities based on recipes and liquid measurements
* Must be experienced working with Dough.
* Complete understanding of cost control systems and proper implementation systems
* Able to lift and carry 30-50 pounds several times per shift.
* Must have sufficient mobility to move and/or operate in work area. Bending, turning, twisting upper body, reaching, etc.
* Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours.
* Must meet any federal, state, county or municipal regulations pertaining to the service of food and beverages.

Additional Information
* Extreme environmental demands on restaurant employees are few. The majority of work takes place indoors in climate-controlled areas. At times restaurant areas can become quite warm.
* The only chemicals involved are those of the cleaning kind. Training is given as to the appropriate use of these chemicals.
