Customer Care Merchandise Specialist Seasonal - Full-time / Part-time

Signet Jewelers is looking for select few individuals like YOU to join our Kay/Jared Customer Care Department.

The ideal candidates:

• Possess both strong written and verbal communication skills

• Enjoy assisting guests who are experiencing challenges
• Project a professional attitude
• Promote positive guest relations and provide quality customer service
• Are available to work a combination of day, evening and weekend work schedules
• Have proficient PC skills and are highly comfortable simultaneously navigating multiple screens

Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:

• Provide customers with merchandise, repair, ecommerce and sales assistance via phones, chat, email and social media.
• Process online orders tendered by bankcard, gift card or alternative payment.
• Make profitable decisions that balance sales growth with fraud prevention. Independently develop resolutions or responses to any request for assistance by a customer, store associate or bank partner.
• Maintain Quality and Production standards; meet established department service level goals.
• Adhere to company and compliance policies and procedures; ensure all customer confidential or sensitive information is protected and secured at all times; protect existing customers against fraud.
• Performs additional duties and projects as assigned.  Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
