RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage operations in accordance with policies established by the ownership to achieve objectives 
  • Maintain staffing levels (by recruiting and promoting DMs when needed) 
  • Train, develop, lead and terminate (if necessary) DMs to establish a team capable of achieving market objectives 
  • Conduct routine performance reviews for all DMs within a designated market 
  • Manage programs within a designated market developed by the ownership 
  • Use clear, concise communications to positively reinforce expectations 
  • Train and correct unfavorable behaviors while always maintaining a high level of professionalism 
  • Ensure DMs have properly maintained equipment and buildings, all safety and sanitation standards are met, and the restaurants are maintained in a neat and attractive manner 
  • Manage the market’s P&L to ensure compliance 
  • Analyze P&L data and report on variances to leadership 
  • Plan, implement and execute marketing efforts within a designated market 
  • Work the peak period at bottom performing location(s) a minimum of once every week 
  • Conduct ALL business at the highest level of integrity 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 
  • Report directly to the Vice-President of the designated market

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor-s degree, one to two years related experience, and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Proficiency with automated reporting systems including, but not limited to; Inventory, Food Cost, Scheduling, Time & Attendance and Labor 
  • High proficiency in office suite (excel, outlook, word & PowerPoint) 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to champion new ideas and initiatives
