Job Description:

Chick-fil-A Okemos is seeking a passionate, engaged, and enthusiastic leader to make a difference in our team’s and guests’ lives daily!  As our Hospitality / FOH Manager, you will work in a fast-paced business, with the opportunity to be a part of our high-powered team.

We are seeking a developed leader to support the business by communicating, tracking, training and coaching all team members on achieving service and revenue goals as a team. FOH Manager oversees team members in the development of the business and in the continual pursuit of “Operational Excellence” while creating a positive work culture. FOH Manager is in constant contact with the senior leadership team and Owner/Operator as to what is happening in their scope of responsibility and are responsible for the overall flow of the front of house. They are tasked with meeting and exceeding our high goals and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Owner/Operator and other senior leaders as part of a high-performance leadership team to execute our business strategy 
  • Achieve strategic, annual business results through focus and action on tactical monthly and quarterly objectives and tasks 
  • Develop, oversee, and assign tasks to all FOH team members
  • Oversee the overall dining experience at the front counter and drive thru
  • Works alongside other leadership to ensure appropriate daily and restaurant staffing levels 
  • Responsible for inventory management 
  • Responsible for the facilities management 
  • Complete understanding of each key position in both the front and back of the store 
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to standing for up to 9 hours and lifting up to 40lbs. 
  • Verifies completion of all operational assessment tools 
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items 
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality 
  • Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome 
  • Follow Chick-fil-A’s operational policies and procedures 
  • All other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a leader in the customer service industry, food service operations preferred
  • Proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments as part of a team 
  • Basic computer competency 
  • Self-leader committed to personal growth 
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient and thorough pace
