The Sr. National Sales Manager is responsible for growing sales of Bakery products to the retail segment while protecting our brand. Responsible for developing, establishing, and maintaining a line of products into the customer base.  The Sr. National Sales manager retains existing customers, grows relationships with new/potential customers, and ensures the utmost of integrity while representing The Cheesecake Factory Bakery (TCFB) in these and all other relationships. In short, increases sales through excellent customer relations and new customer development, while maintaining the highest possible integrity.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:  




  • Seeks out and sells TCFB products to appropriate retail partners. 

  • Manages existing customer relationships to maintain and grow current business. 

  • Participates in the Annual Operating Plan process and meets or exceeds annual budgeted sales goals.  

  • Responsible for having excellent product knowledge. 

  • Communicates clearly, frequently and professionally with customers so as to ensure high retention. 

  • Manages and controls all associated costs within Company and Bakery guidelines and policy. 

  • Represents TCFB professionally in all aspects with customers. 

  • Organizes, manages and attends seasonal shows, as needed. 

  • Schedules customer and broker reviews semi-annually to evaluate progress and adjusts go-to-market plans. 

  • Develops sales plans and opportunities for the retail channel. 

  • Manages and leverages retail broker relationships to ensure continuous sales growth. 



 



Qualifications


 

 



What we Require:




  • Minimum of 5 years selling experience in retail;  In Store Baker (ISB) and frozen departments. 

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written, as well as excellent listening skills 

  • Self-motivator, disciplined, strong work ethic with high integrity 

  • Ability to travel a minimum of 3 days per week 

  • Ability to frequently lift 35 pounds 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.) 

  • Participates in industry relation functions as required.

  • Preferably located on the West Coast 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
