Guest Experience Greeter

Job Description:

Park Greeters are known by our guests for their welcoming smiles, waves, and friendly faces. Park Greeters welcome guests to the park as soon as they step off the Trams. They provide directions and other insights to make sure our guests begin their day in the sweetest way. Park Greeters are also responsible for walking the park and collecting survey information (on an iPad) from guests visiting Hersheypark.

Greeter Positions are currently available for employees age 18 or older.

Job Functions:　

Guest Service Greeter: may be required to do one or all of the following tasks depending on the assigned job:

• Welcome guests to the Park
• Wish guests a safe trip home when leaving
• Direct crowds
• Assist with various Park programs
• Collect survey data from guests with various technological pieces
• Host a Breakfast at the Park bus run
• Pick up trash/clean Park benches            
• Provide guest transports to and from various locations on property
• Learn operational standards for the Guest Experience Department at Hersheypark.  

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age on the day of applying
• Valid Driver’s License

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong verbal communication skills
• Must be friendly, upbeat, and work well with other employees and be able to interact with our guests
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shifts
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand English
• Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines. Please note some departments may be more stringent on the appearance guidelines due to business need.
• Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work a minimum of 4 days per week throughout the summer season to include a rotation of mornings and evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work in combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions
• Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, and communicating.
