New Country Motor Cars Mercedes-Benz is looking for a Full-Time Service Receptionist to join our team. We are part of the New Country Motor Car Group that retails over 2300 hundred cars a month in five states. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Ability to answer incoming phone calls in a prompt, polite, polite, professional manner, transferring them to the appropriate person or department quickly, or operating the dealership paging system to call the needed individual to the phone
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients needing service utilizing the dealership computer system
  • Collect the total retail charges from the customers in cash, check, or authorized charge card ensuring that the cash drawer balances with daily transactions
  • Need to develop knowledge of basic dealership and service department information in order to respond to callers who have basic inquiries
  • Greet customers as they enter the dealerships service department and direct customers to the correct department
  • Ensure that customers complaints are handled promptly, with genuine concern and according the dealership guidelines
  • Inspect every repair order and/or parts invoice for completion and accuracy
  • Perform any other administrative tasks as directed by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience operating a multi-line phone system
  • Must have excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work comfortably with the public
  • Possess a great attitude with a high-energy personality
  • Maintain professional appearance and work ethic
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive criticism
