Job Description
We are looking for a self-motivated responsible individual that is willing to work overtime as needed. This person should have good managing skills as well as the ability to work well with others. Two years of experience as a supervisor or manager is required. Fork lift truck experience is necessary. We would prefer someone with some mechanical background in the industrial field. Attendance will also be very important as we expect our supervisors to lead by example.
Daily responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the plant manager, shift supervisors will lead their team in operation, optimization and improvement of molded fiber production in a safe, cost effective and environmentally controlled manner.
· Understanding our company policies as well as enforcing them.
· Managing up to 25 employees per day.
· Daily production reports. This entails product counts and downtime accumulated, then logging data into an excel spread sheet.
· Holding weekly progress and memorandum meetings.
· Reporting hours work for their shift weekly
· Reporting raw materials consumed on their shift weekly
HOURS: SUN- THURS 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM plus OT as needed.
