We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist at our brand new Distribution Center (DC) located in Fredericksburg, PA. The Human Resources Generalist assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. This position will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Payroll, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, HRIS, Leaves, Workers Compensation, employee assistance, benefits, compensation, and employment.

This position reports to the Human Resources Manager

Job qualifications:
  • Payroll Administration: Preparing, submitting and auditing payroll and incentive pay program.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Accurately review a high volume of invoices for correct coding and submission to corporate for processing and payment.
  • Benefits: Providing assistance in administering employee benefit programs and worker's compensation plans.
  • Assisting with the day to day operation of the HR Department.
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential employee information and data.
  • Explaining company policies, benefits, and procedures to employees.
  • Compiling and preparing reports for supervisors and managers.
  • Maintaining employee payroll files.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors preferred in Human Resources, Business or Finance.
  • 1 year of Payroll processing and accounting experience required.
  • Familiarity with payroll software, WORKDAY® proficiency preferred.
  • 2 years of HR Generalist experience required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access and SAP preferred.
  • Solid basic math skills to determine accuracy of reports.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good time management skills and ability to self-manage workflow.
  • Judgment and discretion in handling confidential data.
  • Strong Attention to detail required.
  • Good team player.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively and professionally.
  • Ability to perform administrative and clerical duties accurately and meet strict deadlines.
