LOSS PREVENTION OFFICER II

We have exciting opportunities for Loss Prevention Officers to be involved in the opening of our brand new distribution center in Fredericksburg, PA facility. Working in a fast-paced distribution facility, Loss Prevention Officers ensure the safety and security of the facility and assets by acting as a liaison between visitors and employees, representing the department through positive interactions with other departments, and ensuring adherence to security policies while meeting Ace performance standards.

Essential Functions:
  • Oversees, observes, and supervises employees entering and exiting the building.
  • Walks through and around the exterior of the entire facility conducting Saftey/Hazard/Security audits.
  • Maintain accurate records and files for team member's safety.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly safety inspections.
  • Complete and maintain required reports.
  • Continually monitors the hazard materials storeroom and cleans up spills.
  • Oversees and supervises the disposition of damaged items, loads items onto push carts, and moves to safe location.
  • Walks throughout the facility and conducts general investigations, inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Use computers and office equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with Facilities Management Best Practices.
  • Must read Standard Operating Procedures, hear fire/security alarms and phones, and be able to monitor CCTV.
  • Provides trainings to other employees.
  • Perform housekeeping duties, keep floors clean, and keep work areas neat and clean.
Requirements
  • Degree in Criminal Justice or 3-5 years of practical experience in Security or Loss Prevention.
  • Able to work a varied schedule to include early mornings, swing shifts, nights, week-ends and holidays.
  • CPR/First Aide certified or able to obtain certification through company provided training.
  • Computer Skills
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Interested candidate must be at least 18 year of age, legal to work in the US, and have completed a high school degree or equivalent.
