Warehouse Specialist - Full Case Filler
In our Ace Hardware Distribution Centers (RSC), our employees are the most important tools of our trade.
Our RSC is looking for a number of good candidates to join our team as a Warehouse Specialist in our Full Case Fill Department.
Working in our fast-paced distribution facility, you will fill retail store owners' orders while meeting Ace performance standards. As a FULL CASE FILLER, you will drive up and down aisles, stop at bin locations, pick items from bins, load them into containers on carts, and drop loads at specified locations for shipment.
Additional responsibilities include:
Perform a safety and mechanical check of the equipment.
Set up RF scanner on material mover, loads specialized pallets & assembles (opens/folds/sets pack in its pallet).
Driving equipment up & down aisle.
Fill orders by stopping at designated locations, climb down, go to bin, pick items, scan items, and puts the items into a container. Place long items on a towed cart.
Drive the filled containers to the shipping area.
Pick up covers for the containers and place them on top.
Unhitch carts that have items that do not fit into containers (lengths of pipe, ladders, garden tools, etc).
A successful candidate will possess the following requirements:
Heavy lifting is involved. Prefer experience with fork lift operation.
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs repeatedly throughout an 8 hour shift and mandatory overtime.
Standing or riding equipment for an entire shift.
Accuracy is a must!
Interested candidates must be at least 18 years of age, legal to work in the US, and have completed a high school degree or equivalent.
