Equipment and Tools Used for This Job: Pallet Jack, Tie-down Straps, Chocks, ACE uniform. Load Bars
Required PPE For This Job: Must wear seatbelt. Back Safety & Ergonomic Training
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS FOR THIS JOB
Essential Function 1
Climbs up into tractor cab, drives & backup to trailer, climbs down from cab then up onto rear deck of tractor to
make up connections, climbs down, winds up landing gear, and removes wheel chocks. Climbs stairs to dock,
pulls chain to open dock door, pulls truck door down, and returns to truck.
Essential Function 2
Climbs up into truck, drives over the road to the first drop. Maneuvers and parks truck, climbs down from cab,
opens trailer door, climbs up into trailer, uses pallet jack to move orders to lift gate, lowers lift gate and pulls
order into the retail store.
Essential Function 3
Driver hand carries materials that are not palletized or long materials to lift, lowers lift and moves materials
into the retail store. Driver uses pallet jack to move Opti Pak filled with materials being returned. Driver hand
carries or uses hand truck to move materials and empty totes to the trailer, secures load with straps, closes
door and lift gate and drives to the next drop.
