High-end architectural millwork firm located near Garden City, NY seeks an experienced and energetic Drafter to work internally with estimators, PM’s, programmers and the production floor to seamlessly take our projects from concept to production.
Main functions will include but not limited to:

Main functions will include but not limited to:
- Create millwork shop drawings for architectural submittals
- Manage shop drawings throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Site visits and field measurements as needed
- Streamline process from shop drawings to fabrication
- Participate in project meetings and provide assistance to project managers as needed
- Handle complex designing and drafting assignments under minimal supervision
- Communicate effectively in team environment
- Proficiency in AutoCad and other drafting software programs required
- 3-5 years’ related experience
- Knowledge of layout, shop drawings & millwork required
- Excellent multi-tasking ability, highly organized with great attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply design
