As an Intermediate Golf Maintenance for the Keystone Golf Course you will be responsible for the application of fertilizers, pesticides and amendments on golf course turf,   Keep accurate and complete records of all applications.  Perform complex maintenance and agronomic tasks such as aeration, topdressing, seeding, vericutting, and trenching. Lead small  groups in the completion of golf course projects such as sub surface drainage, irrigation installation and repair and sodding.  Perform routine golf maintenance tasks as assigned.  All other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply granular and liquid fertilizers, pesticides and soil amendments
• Operate complex equipment in the completion of agronomic practices.
• Lead small groups in the completion of golf course projects.
• Assist irrigation tech in routine maintenance and new installation of irrigation system.
• Perform golf course maintenance duties and any other duties as directed. 
• Work safely at all times. Follow all chemical  label directions including the use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in MS Word, Excel, and Access
• Valid driver’s license
• One full season of golf maintenance experience with mastery in bunker maintenance and greens, tee, fairway, and rough mowing. Some experience in the operations of specialized agronomic equipment also required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
