Job Title: Dining Room Attendant 

Summary

The Dining Room or Floor Attendants position is to add a special touch that is generally unexpected by guests who are used to other self selection restaurants. We expect our Dining Room employees to make every guest feel like they are a member of our family. Our Dining Room Attendants go above and beyond tending to our guests needs so when they are finished they honestly feel that the service they received was completely unexpected.

Everybody loves Souplantation & Sweet Tomatoes but not everyone is familiar with what we do and who we truly are. We believe once our guests know how carefully we’ve chosen our farms to raise local produce and how quickly it gets to our kitchen (within hours of harvest), that they will see the value in what we provide.

The Dining Room or Floor Attendants should think of themselves as a Hospitality & Brand Ambassador. Our dining room employees host our guests through their entire journey. To ensure an outstanding guest journey, always being attentive, anticipating the guest’s needs throughout their visit, and helping them Discover Fresh!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of the guests

  • Provide confident guest interactions

  • Address guest issues or concerns promptly

  • Provide drink refills and prebus tables

  • Clear tables in a timely manner

  • Maintain all required bar areas

  • Serve Beer or Wine if served at location

  • Share our beloved farmer partner stories with our guests

  • Complete required sidework duties & end of shift management checkouts

  • Clean required areas assigned by management

  • Promote company’s online e-club program with guests

  • Partner with other areas providing support when needed

  • Maintain a clean and neat work station

  • Provide exceptional guest experience

  • Answer the telephone as needed

Compliance
  • Follow all company workplace safety requirements which may consist of but not limited to pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, floor maintenance, security, chemical use, cut prevention, burn prevention & strain prevention.

  • Follow all company Food Safety Requirements

  • Take required meal and rest breaks as required by law
