You're passionate about being a part of the real food movement and believe in the importance of honest, from scratch cooking. You have familiarity with payroll basics and scheduling and are skilled in the use of Point of Sale systems (Lavu preferred), Open Table and Google Docs and have five years full service restaurant experience with a minimum two years management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education experience.
ABOUT THIS POSITION: The Wise Acre Eatery GM supervises and coordinates the daily operation of the restaurant by leading and directing the work of all servers and wait-assistants, including, but not limited to, collaborating with the Executive Chef, Bar Lead and co-owners, training FOH staff, projecting and monitoring the flow of guests and setting the tone for employees.
This is a core leadership position at Wise Acre Eatery. The Wise Acre Eatery GM ensures exceptional guest service through communication and follow-up with employees and guests. As an integral part of the restaurant leadership team, this person drives initiatives to heighten guests’ dining experiences, identifies incremental revenue opportunities, as well as products and services to differentiate the restaurant and achieve the organization’s operational and financial goals. This person is responsible for working with the owners directly to deliver innovation, creativity, first-class service and the creation of memorable experiences. The Wise Acre Eatery GM will work on-site, typically the 11:00a - 8:00p shift to be accessible to staff and customers. Some flexibility with hours available but some weekend availability is a must. This Position will report directly to our restaurant co-owners, Scott Endres & Dean Engelmann.
