Job Description
We are a small company, (25 employees), who designs and manufactures special “NO-MAR” assembly tools and gauges for the auto and truck assembly plants around the world. We are known in the industry as the “Mutilation Prevention Doctors” and with the wide variety of anti-marring solutions we offer, we are the number one company on the planet.
We are seeking a General Manager to oversee all company operations including manufacturing, sales, finance, and distribution. We offer a competitive salary based on experience and benefits include medical insurance, life insurance, investment program, vacation, etc.
Primary Function: Direct, manage and monitor overall operations (sales, production, finance). Responsible for the sales, manufacture and shipment of company sold products. Ensure profit, quality, safety, and productivity standards are achieved. Must have direct P & L and budget creation responsibility in the past.
Job Duties:
· Responsible for the leadership in all operations including sales, production and finance. All are equally important.
· Responsible for material management including inventory levels, scheduling, container levels, shipping, and receiving.
· Establish and drive systems in sales, production and finance categories to attain 100% delivery on time
· Continually drive adherence to quality process and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Identify cost drivers and lead sales and manufacturing activities to attain variable expense budgeted ratios.
· Identify negative manufacturing trends and utilize cross-functional teams to improve production metrics.
· Identify necessary capital expenditures to maintain technological competitive edge.
· Utilize annual performance reviews to drive change and improve sales manufacturing and financial metrics.
· Develop and train sales manufacturing and administrative associates
· Actively promote associates participation in continuous improvement efforts like suggestion programs and Continuous Improvement teams.
· Ensure compliance with all local, State and Federal regulations in the plant.
· Follow all applicable quality standard policies, procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications:
· Relevant College Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related are and/or extensive experience in a manufacturing setting in the categories of sales, production, and finance.
· 10-15 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing environment (General Management)
· Experience in the auto assembly industry highly desirable
· Looking for well-rounded candidates with P & L experience to lead entire organization (sales, production and finance)
