Job Description

Luxury Beauty Retailer is currently seeking Store Manager (s).

The Store Manager position is responsible for overseeing all functions of the retail store. This position is responsible for managing all retail-level associates and coordinating with the Director of Stores on the management of specialty-personnel, such as the stock manager, etc. In addition, the Store Manager oversees the following functions at the retail-level: 1) employee relations 2) employee performance & productivity 3) floor merchandising 4) payroll 5) retail sales 6) continuous associate training 7) facilities management 8) inventory control, and 9) customer service.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:o Personnel Management

o Reviewing and recommending candidates for hire

o Monitoring employee performance through monthly productivity meetings

o Complete all performance appraisals in a timely manner

o Oversee the performance of service personnel

o Enforcement of all Company policies

o Oversee [in-store] new hire training; new product training; policy training/implementation

o Monitor customer service, Inventory Control & Merchandising

o Manage the Stock Manager

o Oversee that all duties are performed accurately and timely

o Communicate with the Director of Stores/Operations on all operational directives

o Monitor product replenishment

o Spot-check purchase orders, transfer requests, out-of-stock requests, stock room organization, returns and price changes

o Direct floor moves/re-merchandising under the direction of the Director of Stores/Operations

o Review and adhere to all company promotionso Administrative Functionso Process weekly payroll; communicate with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely payroll processingo Review all sales reports with the Director of Stores to ensure that targets/sales goals are being achievedo Review and process reports on all financial transactions

o Complete all documents for Worker’s Compensation claimso Facilities Management

o Ensure that all terminals are workingo Maintain a clean, organized and safe retail sales floor, by ensuring the removal of all trash/debris from the store; no broken shelving or cabinets, etc.

o Monitor safety complianceo Spot-check the treatment room, stylist room, etc. to ensure compliance with health codes and Company policy

o Maintain awareness of all operational functions

Required :

  • Retail management experience (2 years); beauty experience desired
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic computer software, including MS Office
  • Full availability to work on days, night, weekends and holidays
  • Degree preferred
