Beverage Cart Attendant - Part-time

Summary of Job:  Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

• Clock in on time according to schedule (exceptions due to weather should be approved by Clubhouse Manager);

• Stock and clean beverage cart throughout the day;

• Perform daily opening and closing inventory; turn in dated and signed inventory sheet with closing paperwork;

• Maintain an inventory sheet that reflects daily sales;

• Check food and beverage products in beverage cart storage room and inform management to order new products when necessary based on par levels;

• Confirm cart is fully operational before starting rounds (gas, air in tires, oil etc.).

• Ensure guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner;

• Serve food and beverage items to guests and members while on golf course;

• Maintain and exhibit knowledge of proper golf course etiquette;

• Set up and break down beverage cart on daily basis;
• Ensure that portable cooler bags are put away in proper area in beverage cart storage room;
• Park and hose down beverage cart at the end of the shift; keep cart clean at all times;

• Ensure member’s tickets are closed to correct member daily;
• Perform daily and weekly storage room cleaning as directed;
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clubhouse Manager.

Special Requirements (if any): 

• Must be over age 18 per Florida statute;

• Ability to receive and follow detailed instructions in English;

• Ability to sit in a golf cart for extended periods, as well as get in and out of cart easily

• Ability to bend, stretch, reach
