Description

Inventory Coordinator

Is based in our facility in San Fernando, CA
Start time is 4-6 a.m.

To process and control inventory levels for both finished goods and raw materials. Maintain proper service levels while avoiding out of stocks and excess holding costs. Develop reports as directed by management. Light Travel required for training.

Position Responsibilities
• Review new orders daily – run reports and send to teams daily.
• Send outside hauler delivery report daily
• Work with corporate and account CSRs when issues/revisions occur
• Be on-call when issues arise including nights and weekends
• Research and provide insight and/or resolution when there are issues
• Track and file orders/paperwork
• Work with corporate for new or changes to customer accounts
• Calculate/input inventory adjustments
• Order finished goods as needed
• Process and maintain inventory transfers on the computer system
• Research major inventory overages or shortages
• Immediately advise management of potential problems (product sourcing, product return, raw and finished goods) associated with inventory that arise from day to day.
• Prepare inventory reports as requested by management
• Input consumer and wasted product to the computer system
• Participate in inventory audits
  • Maintain compliance processes in-line with Company standards/expectations and retain required papework on these processes.
  • Ensure all departments intertwined with INVENTORY DEPT are also following appropriate compliance processes and standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with inventory, production, shipping, and customer service.
  • SAP knowledge or equivalent.
  • Minimum Intermediate expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic Math Skills
