Description

Merchandiser & Transition Driver
The Merchandiser & Transition Driver is responsible for delivering product to both large and small format accounts on a predetermined route for advance sales, maintaining strong customer rapport, quality service, and effective merchandising of all products.



Position Shift and Schedule:


This is a full time permanent position working . Monday- Friday some Saturdays as needed.

Position Compensation:

The Starting pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour. Attractive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, etc.).

Sign-on Bonus (less taxes):

You will receive a sign-on bonus in the amount of $1500.00 (less applicable taxes) paid out in installments of $500.00 after 30 days of employment, $500.00 after 6 months of employment and $500.00 after 1 year of employment. Please note that if you voluntarily resign within the first year of employment, you will be required to reimburse the Company the full amount of your sign-on bonus.

Position Responsibilities
  1. Deliver product to scheduled accounts in good condition and within scheduled delivery time.
  2. Assure brands and packages are rotated properly, safeguarding against past-dated products available to consumers.
  3. Accountable for cash/credit proceeds and products removed from inventories.
  4. Record transactions and convey all related cash, checks and documents to Route Auditor at conclusion of work shift.
  5. Provide shelf merchandising to stores upon request by manager or customer.
  6. Maintain assigned vehicle in accordance to applicable safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • 2 years delivery experience and interacting with the public
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Valid CDL-A , must be able to drive a 10-speed manual transmission.
