We are currently looking for Team Members for our Castleton Disc Replay location in Indianapolis, IN.  We offer flexible schedules, employee discounts and advancement opportunities.

At Disc Replay stores, we buy, sell and trade used DVD and blu-ray movies, used electronics, used video games, video game systems, and video game accessories. Everything we sell is guaranteed to play like new. Our stores are stocked with tens of thousands of used media items, and we pride ourselves on having a huge selection and great prices. Since 1994, shopping at Disc Replay has been a family tradition.

POSITION PURPOSE

To help promote all aspects of the business including but not limited to selling, pricing, and merchandising. Obtain an understanding of the buying processes & procedures and be able to assist in introductory level buys as directed by management. Promote a high level of customer service by ensuring customers are assisted in an enthusiastic, timely, and knowledgeable manner. Assist store management in daily store operations.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Exhibit appropriate selling and buying behaviors. Greet customers immediately, determine their needs, and handle all transactions in a professional and enthusiastic manner.

2. Become familiar with products and prices and make recommendations of products, including their features and benefits, to suit customers’ needs. Maximize sales and customer satisfaction by adding items to the close of the sale.

3. Invite customer to return to the store to buy, sell, or trade and promote image of the store concept.

4. Check in customers selling items to the store. Perform introductory level buys by thoroughly evaluating customers items following standard protocol.

5. Restock store following merchandising plan. Maintain store displays and follow store housekeeping and maintenance standards and procedures.

6. Develop proficiency in operating computerized POS system for all sales transactions and finalizing all buy transactions.

7. Achieve personal and store sales goals by applying sound customer service and sales protocol.

8. Embrace and exemplify Disc Replay’s Core Values. Integrity, Personal Accountability, the "X" Factor in Customer Service, a "Can Do" Attitude and a "Greater Good" Work Ethic.

9. Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Prior retail experience preferred in similar product lines, but willing to train the right candidate.

2. Proven customer service skills required.

3. Ability to work well as a team member, accept constructive feedback, and follow directions.

4. Must be honest & transparent. Have an enthusiastic & positive attitude. Be hard working & efficient. Must take ownership of responsibilities & routinely follow through on assigned task. Must be able to embrace change & adapt to different circumstances.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Sales and goal driven.

7. Basic math skills and the ability to collect payments, operate a cash drawer, and maintain accurate counts at all times. Previous cash handling experience is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours a day.

2. Lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance. May involve heavier lifting with assistance of team member or cart/dolly.

3. Bending, rotating, and reaching customary to a retail environment; including receiving, pricing, and stocking/back stocking merchandise.

4. Exposure to typical retail environment conditions and noise levels.

5. Able to operate a computerized sales terminal.
