Warehouse / Production second shift $13.50/hr FT - Full-time

National Kwikmetal Service is a privately owned steel service center in operation since 1991 that is looking for production / warehouse workers to increase output.  We are looking for dedicated individuals that want to grow with the company through continuous improvement and training that have aspirations to become machine operators.  We operate two slitters that provide stainless steel coils to a wide variety of end users and distributors all across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

This is an entry level position and we are looking for candidates that possess the following traits

Mechanically inclined – ability to understand how various different pieces of equipment work

Ability to read / use precision measurement devices – Calipers / micrometers

Any experience using sit down fork lifts

Any experience using overhead cranes

Any experience in an ISO certified production environment

Any experience in production / warehouse enviornment

The requirements of the job are as follows

Second shift currently 3:00pm – 1am Monday – Thursday and 2pm – 7pm Friday – No weekends

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Must be able to pass a drug screen

Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical

Must demonstrate the ability to work safely at all times

High School Diploma or equivalent
