Located in the heart of the Breckenridge, Colorado ski resort, Mountain Thunder Lodge features cosmopolitan luxury, in a rustic mountain setting. As one of Breckenridge's ski-in/gondola-out properties, visitors are still discovering this gem of luxury, convenience and personal service. Come join our world class team as an Engineering Maintenance Technician. 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Attend to any work orders, guest requests, housekeeping requests, front desk requests, and room calls
• Assist to maintain all Facilities and Operating Systems in a safe and efficient working order (ie. Auto doors, exit doorways, required snow/ garbage removal).  Will require lifting of 20 Lbs or more. 
• Work with outside contractors to provide necessary improvements or maintenance as directed.
• Maintain records of all work activities and support materials
• Repair and maintain all facility systems including plumbing, mechanical, kitchen, lighting systems as assigned
• Maintain tools, equipment and vehicles and keep work area in safe, secure and efficient manner.
• Assist in snow removal during winter season using shovels, snow blower, and plow truck. And landscaping during the summer months.
• Keep track of supplies and fill out requisition for needed supplies.
• Assist with preventative maintenance in common areas, back of house and guest rooms.
• Assist with preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and kitchen equipment as assigned
• Develop a fundamental understanding of all facilities and their associated systems
• Monitor work orders; track time and materials on specific work orders within work order tracking system
• Promote and exhibit a safe work environment and maintain all safety protocols and standards
• Work with manager, coordinator and administrative assistant to ensure service needs are being fulfilled, necessary paperwork is being submitted in a timely manner and all company requirements are being met
• Maintain a professional appearance

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or trade school degree -required
• At least one years’ experience in maintenance - preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate detailed information to guests and employees. English proficiency
