RENALDO CADILLAC BUICK GMC is seeking a Service Porter for our busy Service Department. The full-time Service Porter position pays an hourly wage and receives full company benefits. Applicants must have proven ability to provide excellent customer service since a large part of this job requires interacting with our customers.

Service Porter - Job Description:

The Service Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as related to supporting customers who come in for the maintenance and service of vehicles. The Service Porter will greet customers, drive courtesy shuttle for service customers, move vehicles from service lane to service parking lot, maintain the parking lot in an organized manner, retrieve customer vehicles, and other duties as assigned. The Service Porter interacts daily with the Service Advisors, Service Managers, Sales Associates, Sales Managers, support staff and customers.

Service Porter - Job Responsibilities:

• Friendly customer service while greeting and assisting guests in a professional manner.
• Preparing vehicles by placing protective mats and plastic seat covers to ensure cleanliness of the vehicle's interior.
• Make key tags and repair orders.
• Ensure vehicles are moved quickly from the service lanes in order to minimize congestion at the Service Drive entrance.
• Monitor driveways, parking lots, entrances, and all other work areas for trash and debris. Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Operate all vehicles in a safe and cautious manner while driving from service lanes to the service stalls.
• Willingness to work outside during all weather conditions.
• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to storage and return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant
• Pick up parts from the Parts Department
  
  

Service Porter - Job Requirements:

• Professional appearance and good customer service skills.
• Punctual, Team Player, Hard Working, Reliable.
• Driving and/or Customer Service experience preferred.
• Must be able to drive a stick shift (manual transmission)
• Valid driver's license, ability to pass background check and MVR check
