Function: The position of Warehouse associate is a general title given for associates of Epic Personnel Partners, LLC, your actual title may differ and your responsibilities may be focused but not limited to one area of operations. Our associates are responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

(General) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receives material coming into the building by vendors, or other warehouses accurately and promptly.
• Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the shipping list.
• Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies.
• Accurately places materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner.
• Selects and palletizes orders to be shipped to customer store locations.
• Preparation of all shipping documentation.
• Review all orders to determine if they were selected correctly.
• Ensure warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis including housekeeping.
• Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area. (May include, Forklift, Pallet jack, Scissor lift, Order selector, Reach Lift)

Competencies:  

• Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
• Ability to understand and execute instructions.

 Qualifications:

• Warehouse and distribution experience is a plus
