Purpose

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for supporting activities related to the FTMBA Program, including, but not limited to: program support for student clubs, conferences, competitions, event sponsorship and academics; analysis of student feedback surveys; and improvement of internal operations and processes. This position reports to the Sr. Associate Director of Student Life for the FTMBA Program.

Responsibilities*

Support for Student Life Programs

* Assist Sr. Associate Director of Student Life with planning and executing major Program Office-led events including Orientation, town halls with leadership, student club leadership training, and Commencement activities.

* Assist Sr. Associate Director of Student Life and Program Coordinator with administrative needs related to student clubs, conferences, and competitions. Duties may include creating conference sites, making reservations, preparing materials, booking travel, managing expense and reimbursement requests, providing on-site support, and analyzing events.

* Assist in monitoring and responding to emails sent to the FTMBA Program Office email account.

* Maintain and update FTMBA program website (content and functionality) as needed.

Manage Student Event Sponsorship Process

* In conjunction with the Project Coordinator, oversee and track the event sponsorship process for student professional clubs, which receive almost $500K per year. Duties include communicating guidelines to students regarding the event sponsorship solicitation and fund in-take process, facilitating contracts, making payments, and processing sponsorship funds with Ross Development.

Program Evaluation and Process Improvements

* Coordinate development, administration, and analysis of surveys about the student experience and events. Surveys are conducted frequently throughout the year and inform programming associated with the academic and co-curricular experience of FTMBA students.

* Conduct research and benchmarking for special projects (e.g., curriculum, processes, co-curricular offerings, events/conferences, etc.).

* Identify opportunities to standardize policies and automate processes.

* Assist with creating and documenting processes related to key student engagements.

Assist with Academic Preparation/Course Activities

* Assist Sr. Associate Director of Graduate Advising with coordination of pre-term academic activities including managing the course waiver process, collecting and distributing pre-term materials from faculty, monitoring and ensuring students' completion of pre-term requirements.

* Assist with core course materials which includes grade analysis, seating charts, group assignments and resume books.

* Bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience
