Emissions Certification and Compliance

The Vehicle Emissions Certification Engineer job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Requesting and coordinating the certification emissions and evaporative testing
• Working with the computer systems that collect and report the data
• Processing the test documentation for colleagues to review
• Submit vehicle information and test data to regulatory groups Generate vehicle test plans aligned with regulatory requirements Coordinate with product planning, engineering and calibration to ensure timing and content of testing and documentation is accurate
• In-house applications designed to support testing and data validation: GRCS (Global Regulatory Compliance System) and ETS (Emissions Testing System) Understanding of emissions regulations
• Coordination of emissions build up delivery and retrieval of vehicles to/from EPA and other FCA Testing Facilities
