About this job
The Engine Mechanical Development Test Management Engineer will provide test coordination between engine design and development mechanical development team and powertrain lab support.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Providing systems support to ensure engine is functioning properly to meet test objectives
- Providing diagnostics to ensure proper engine output, temperatures, pressures, CAN communications and all other pertinent parameters are measured
- Working with Engine Development teams to ensure proper engine controls and calibration are used for each test
- Providing interface for engine control functionality with supporting engine development teams as appropriate to diagnose engine functionality
- Coordinating test cell to ensure all instrumentation and functionality meet test objectives for engine design mechanical development team
