Engineering Team Lead - Combustion Measurement & Airflow Labs - Full-time / Part-time

The Engineering Team Lead is responsible for managing the Engine Airflow & Combustion Measurement groups within Powertrain Test organization. The candidate in this role will lead a group of engineers and SBU technicians in supporting daily operations of the Engine Airflow Lab & Combustion Measurement within the Engine Dynamometer Testing Lab. Provide engineering support for single cylinder engine development indirectly reporting the senior technical specialist. Maintain inventory of critical equipment and instrumentation required for combustion measurement. Provide diagnostics of combustion measurement concerns. Develop future strategy for combustion measurement and capital instrumentation requirements for the engine-testing lab. Maintain support of combustion measurement for vehicle activities at both Technology Center and Chelsea Proving Grounds. Work jointly with Powertrain Engineering to support and develop post-test software analysis for combustion measurements. Work with third party suppliers of combustion measurement to develop a solid strategy for Powertrain Test operations.
