The Powertrain Validation Project Chief is responsible for organizing and tracking the DVP for the program (based off master DVP&R template), ensuring all test properties (HILs, bucks, vehicles, etc.) are developed and available on time, and scheduling test property usage by the rest of the validation team for on-time completion. The Project Chief is responsible for managing all integration points/validation test loops, managing any change, revalidation, and regression testing, maintaining the DVP&R throughout the program and reporting the results. He/she will be establishing all powertrain permutation/transmission engine combinations and will be required to test and assist with troubleshooting and root cause of issues, and ensure issues are properly documented and managed. Additionally, the Project Chief is the custodian of all vehicles under their responsibility for all of PT Controls.
