About this job

The Purchasing Process Specialist will be responsible for Purchasing Master Data Management (MDM) processes related to Material Groups (Commodity Codes), Purchasing Groups, Materials Management, SAP Security, Online Document Approval Forms (ODA), ensuring MDM processes are both SOX and Internal Audit compliance.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Communicating and training of processes to Purchasing, and internal customers and suppliers as required
  • Interfacing with other FCA regions, ICT and the Purchasing customers for process and system corrections/enhancements, and will identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Customer service is an important part of this job and this entails responding to customer requests in a timely manner and training as needed
  • Leading the overall project management of testing and developing current and future enhancements related to Purchasing Master Data

Some key initiatives for 2018 are supporting master data efforts for MOPAR & Raw Material Sourcing Process into Global Sourcing Tool, synchronization of master data across various regions, and supporting PentaSAP P2P Process Simplification Project related to master data.
