The Operations Manager, US Disability and Group Insurance Programs, is responsible for US workers' compensation, disability, life insurance and voluntary benefits, including program development and management, cost containment, subject matter training for Manufacturing HR, supplier management and claims management.
The successful candidate will engage FCA's supplier in proactive claims management and claim resolution strategies, determine expectations for and manage on-site Plant Disability Representatives, and ensure cooperative and value-added relationships with internal and external customers. The candidate will implement new programs and processes, partner with UAW counterparts to resolve issues and ensure contractual compliance, engage with consultants and brokers to analyze benefit programs, bid business and analyze vendor performance, manage life insurance and voluntary benefit programs and provide subject matter training for FCA colleagues. The candidate will interact with multiple internal and external customers including Office of General Counsel, Benefits Administration, Benefits Finance, Employee Relations, HR Manufacturing staffs, Plant Safety and Medical staffs, External Counsel, direct suppliers and brokers/consultants.
