About this job
The successful candidate will join a growing team at Chrysler Technology Center (CTC) and work with their counterparts at Chelsea Proving Grounds (CPG). They work in multi-disciplinary "Centers of Excellence (CoEs)" who are responsible for delivering embedded software for the GPEC ECU family. Provide status on changes to Cruise Control and other software related to "Vehicle-level Functions (VFs)"and software issue resolution status to Vehicle Controls technical lead, a COE Leader, or Project Management Coordinators (PMCs). They will participate in software issue investigations, review algorithms from controls engineers and support FMEA development for new control strategies with system engineers. They will use software engineering process to develop the vehicle control software, Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Lauderbach and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) instrumentation or a vehicle or other data sources to perform unit test of the new software. The successful candidate will participate in CPU bandwidth testing and ECU memory usage reporting; work with various configuration management tools, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test equipment, and an internal calibration database tool; and develop, update and maintain process and procedure documents.
