About this job
The Lead Actuator Engineer is responsible for technical development of components in scope - throttles, EGR valves, secondary air actuators, DP valves, SRV actuators. The Lead Engineer will create, promote, and implement the technology roadmap for engine actuators. The successful candidate will perform advance design reviews of actuators during the Alpha and Beta development phases, and lead implementation of advance technologies within FCA Group LLC. He/she will lead problem resolution teams, and lead development of lab facilities related to actuator development.
Other responsibilities include working with global powertrain organizations, the controls and calibration groups, suppliers and universities to develop advanced technologies. The successful candidate will lead the actuator Center of Excellence team and provide guidance/recommendations for ongoing engine development projects.
