Concrete Estimator - No Experience Required

Kodiak Construction has an immediate need for an Estimator. Experience is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate. 

Kodiak Construction has been the Bay Area's leader for residential and commercial concrete work for over 20 years. Family owned and operated we pride ourselves on our quality and quick customer service. Services provided: foundations, retaining walls, driveways, patios, walkways, textured concrete, colored concrete, stamped concrete, and pavers.


Responsibilities and Desired Skills Include:

• Strong computation, mathematical, and computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Outlook and Quickbooks is a plus
• Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and successfully bid RFP's, blueprints, and assist in managing project
• Able to work independently, self-motivated, and willing to ask questions
• Maintain relationships with key contacts and clients
• Meet with customers and potential customers and provide accurate proposals
• Read, analyze, and interpret bid documents (will work alongside the Owner)
• Accurately assess project conditions and scope of work
• Maintain a "team player" attitude with the ability to thrive in a family-owned company
• Respond to customers with questions and concerns in an appropriate and timely manner
• MUST have a valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle is required - Kodiak will provide gas and maintenance reimbursements 
• Must be willing to commute - this position requires driving to client homes throughout the Bay Area
