About this job
Floor Scrubber Operator is responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface flooring throughout the facility. Will be responsible for assisting the Site Supervisor with the maintenance of carpet and VCT flooring, (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, & bonneting) areas that include offices, main production floors and other areas. Knowledge of many different floor coverings is helpful. The Operator keeps the Site Supervisor informed of all major activities.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to;
· Operate rider sweeper scrubber. rider sweeper, walk behind scrubbers and all other floor equipment to maintain the cleanliness and care of all floor surfaces.
· Follow manufacturer’s specifications for preparing chemicals and using equipment
· Will be required to complete manual sweeping of specific areas of the facility.
· Report to supervisor needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring additional service
· Follow all company policies and procedures and follow all safety regulations.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor
