Spray Foam Applicators WANTED - Full-time / Part-time

USI Allied Insulation services include: installed open and closed cell spray foam, fiberglass batt and blown-in insulation.

 

Come join the USI Allied Insulation team as we are currently seeking experienced Insulation Installers for this branch location in Asheville, NC!  

 

This position is primarily responsible for the safe and quality installation of spray foam insulation in residential and commercial buildings, working both inside and outside in crawl spaces, attics and basements to insulate these areas.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Load and unload insulation materials

·         Complete prep work for installation, may include foaming penetrations, caulking gaps, installing baffles, etc.

·         Operate spray foam equipment by carrying/holding a hose that applies foam insulation

·         Load blower machine with fiberglass, cellulose, or rock wool insulation; regulate flow of materials. Blow to appropriate depth/density

·         Install vapor and air barriers as needed

·         Properly maintain equipment and tools

·         Follow safety guidelines and procedures

·         Ensure clean job site

·         Other duties as assigned 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·         2-5 years of construction or painting experience preferred to include, but not limited to fiberglass batting, spray foam, blown-in, trim carpentry, drywall hanging, airless paint sprayer, or framing experience.

·         Positive attitude and strong work ethic

·         Must be able to work overtime as required

·         Must be able to lift 40 pounds

·         Valid driver's license required
