Breakfast Attendant - Full-time / Part-time

Here at TownePlace Suites by Marriott - Redwood Shores, we are a 95-Room all-suite hotel

designed to offer all the comforts of home for long-term guests. We are looking for a customer

service SuperStar to work as our Breakfast Attendant:

***Currently looking to hire for 5am-11am

Prior food and beverage experience is helpful but not necessary. The basics of

this position include:

- Greeting/interacting with guests at breakfast

- Preparing and setting up morning breakfast buffet

- Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other products

-Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.

-Preparing setting up hot food items

-Follow menu requirements as provided by the brand

-Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated

-Wiping/cleaning up spills

-Restocking items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day

-Washing serving equipment and returning to storage

-Returning reusable food supplies to storage

-Keeping breakfast area clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets and floors

-Listening and responding to guest requests

-Taking inventory and placing orders on-line for food and supplies need for each week

- A friendly personality and desire to help and make others comfortable

- Ability to anticipate/plan ahead to meet and/or exceed guest expectations

- Ability to work independently and resolve challenges that may come up once trained and are

working unsupervised at times

- Ability to multi-task, be efficient and still provide excellent guest service in a sometimes fast

paced environment

- Ability to work as a team player in conjunction with other departments to meet guest's needs

Initial review and opportunity for increase after 90-days.  Annual evaluations thereafter.  

A pre-employment drug test and verification of eligibility to work in the U.S. are required for

employment.
