Iron Worker Roofer – Bowling Green, KY

PeopleReady is hiring for Iron Worker Roofer in the Bowling Green, KY area. Looking for experience iron workers, erectors, and/or roofers for a large organization. This is a temp-to-hire, full-time opportunity and the pay is determinate on the level of experience in this field.

Job Description: Raise, place, and unite iron or steel girders, columns, and other structural members to form completed structures or structural frameworks. May erect metal storage tanks and assemble prefabricated metal buildings.

Pay Rate: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour

Shift/Hours: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available.

Job Requirements

Read specifications or blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, or sizes of materials required.

Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors.

Bolt aligned structural steel members in position for permanent riveting, bolting, or welding into place.

Fasten structural steel members to hoist cables, using chains, cables, or rope.

Hoist steel beams, girders, or columns into place, using cranes or signaling hoisting equipment operators to lift and position structural steel members

Job Qualifications

No fear of heights

1 – 3 years of experience

Valid driver’s licenses

Able to travel

Able to lift 75 lbs

Come by Monday – Friday, 8 am – 2 pm. We are located at 1347 Kentucky Highway 185, Suite 4, Bowling Green, KY
